I want what Bess Price has for my children.
I want them to have the opportunity to learn all about the 60,000 year history of this continent, to learn about a truly sustainable, enduring culture and the opportunity to connect with the land in a soul deep and intellectually meaningful way.
But my non-indigenous children live in a country that puts NO VALUE on the First People's cultures, whose governments are actively destroying them in many cases, so will probably never have that opportunity.
